It appears that with shipping added on I will have $844.89 invested in the
Hensley. Any idea how much a stinger will cost should I need to replace the
one that is with it?

First thing I do at a rally site is punch the site in as "rally".
Then I can leave to explore and easily go back.

We have one in the Tow Vehicle and another in the car at home, both
semi-permanently mounted and both connected to start/stop with the
ignition switch. A GPS in the glove compartment is useless - takes
too long to get it going in a pinch.

BTW, anybody not using POI (points of interest) files should read up
on them and try a few out. Yesterday I loaded the Passport America
campgrounds (from the POI factory) and several others into the TV GPS.

Even the GPS units with lifetime map subscriptions included are
getting inexpensive. Our Garmin 1450LMT was recently on sale here for $159.

We bought (just about stole it) our Hensley Arrow on Craigslist last year.
It was an older couple that had sold their trailer and wanted to unload it,
I think people around here did not know what it was. They were the original
owners of the hitch and it came with the owner's manual and stinger. We
contacted Hensley and had to order a small part to fix it for $32 including
shipping. We could have transferred ownership into our name for an extra
$100 (we chose not to). It took a little to get used to hitching it up and
adjusting but really love it. So I agree with everyone on the list to
contact Hensley once you get the hitch, they are very easy to work with.

When my son gave me my first GPS I said thanks and figured it would be another toy around that I wouldn't use. AFter we got into TX on a camping trip I began to discover I was needing it just to get back to camp ground so they are addictive.
