My brake controller is in my truck... what are e they talking about?

Hunter,

They aren't referring to the "brake controller", they are recalling "brake
actuators" which are electric over hydraulic pumps used on disc brake
equipped trailers. They are located in a compartment on the trailer. Acti
Brake went out of business because of the failures so I guess Airstream is
forced to pick up the slack. The failures were typically in the ecm which is
inside the unit. I install "Brake Rite" heavy duty actuators because they
have an external ecm. This allows clients to repair the unit themselves
should they ever fail.
