Re: [tabtrailers] Re: Pneumatic Jockey Wheel ...

If one feels they need a jockey wheel to see a lake then get one. Again,  the wheel is an "option" for the 12v jack. I personally don't find it  difficult to back up the  doll house  into  any position, on  an average sized campsite which in reality would be  considered a supersized site in relation to the T@b vs most RVs.  For goodness sakes we are backing up a 13ft tent on wheels, not a coach! lol
The original point made was... you no longer bungee up or worry about a jockey wheel while in tow.

It's hard to turn the trailer sideways on the site or facing the lake without a jockey wheel.

It is an Atwood 12v jack. Local Rv dealer welded it in place and a wheel is optional. You really don't need one. Pic is in my photo album under Mally0909.

Who did it? Was it a custom design? Off-the-shelf design? Any other info you can share? Photos?

Not only have I bent the rim, but I have worn it down substantially while trying to position Tawanda up and down sloped driveways. Think I'll go to Walmart and get some new wheels! As for the rim, I'll just live with it for now.
