[tabtrailers] Rain gets in the camper while driving.

Last Monday, I was driving thru PA and NY (from Hagerstown, MD to Saratoga Springs NY)during a pretty heavy rainstorm and my jockey wheel fell down; imagine pouring rain, 18 wheelers flying by and me on the side of the road in a very skinny emergency lane. I fixed it and on the trip home I used a bungee cord to keep it in place.
But the reason for this email is, when I parked the camper and opened it up there was water on the floor. I remember awhile ago someone mentioned they thought that water leaked in thru the refrigerator vents. Has anyone come up with a fix? is it just a matter of fitting some kind of removeable cover for the front round ones and the square one on the side.
