I have 3 peeves that just get me:
1: Cute little Yippie dogs that harass other dogs. We've nearly let
Woo (our late, VERY big Husky/Malamute) eat some yippie dogs that
decided to charge out of their campsite after him. Woo was leashed,
the "harmless" little yippies weren't. Woo's taken down a 30-lb
Neutria. A 5-lb yippie dog wouldn't stand a chance - and it would have
been my dog's fault. :-(
2: Hygiene. I caught some parents instructing their kids to wash up
at the hand pump after handling raw hamburger. It was a bit of a
"You! Out of the Gene Pool!" moment for me. If their poor camping
hygiene just got them sick, it's one thing, but they were out to get
the whole loop sick.
3: That's not water on the floor. I love puddles in the toilet
facilities where it just seemed like the commode was "just a
suggestion". But that's not just a camping peeve for me (ask my
brother-in-law *evil laugh*).
I'm not picky. I just don't want to pay the vet bill for a preventable
fight that was started by another dog or be on the receiving end of
someone else's piss-poor (pun intended) hygiene habits. :-)
