Linda, before replacing the battery, be sure to have it checked. You can have that done at most any auto parts store, Sears or Walmart, etc. It is always possible that the battery has some hidden load on it that is draining it.
I was hoping someone else would chip with a recommendation for a specific type battery. The physical size of the battery seems to be the biggest issue, and most others are recommending a "group 24" battery. We have been satisfied with our Optima AGM batteries, because of their lower self-discharge rate, their ruggedness, etc., but they don't have the capacity of the traditional flooded-cell batteries, and are a bit more expensive.
