If you bought your trailer "new" from an RV dealer, then you have a one year warranty on EVERYTHING - stem to stern, and your propane/battery cover would be covered. Call your dealer and tell them what happened so they can order a new one for you. You may have to either take it back so they can look at it, or maybe they will let you send them a picture or two of the damage.
If you bought a used one, then you have no warranty as they do not transfer to a new owner if sold within the first year.
Otherwise, there is a nice steel or aluminum box from Trailer Supply that folks are using as a replacement. David B from Oklahoma has pictures in his photo album.

This caused the compartment to shift and crack. All the rivits broke and it scratched the outside finish. What I would like is suggestions about replacement or any other solution to house the propane and battery?
