My 2 cents: last March we took it from I-75 to I-610. Seemed like a lot of updating had been done since Katrina. The only stretch
of rough old pavement we encountered was between Lafayette and the TX border. And since we pull slow, even that wasn't TOO
bad. We expect to do it again this coming winter (if we ever get our dogs' medical situation stabilized).
