The walls in the living room and the bedroom are covered with a vinyl wallpaper that looks like grass style. The kitchen and bathroom is wallpaper again that looks like stainless steel. Since I was going to cover the walls with wallpaper there was no need to remove the glue. The carpet came off very easily but I did discover the carpet is behind everything. I had to pull out some cabinets to get some of it off. I did leave it on in the closet. I never really look all the way back there.

Yes I did take out the kitchen and bathroom counters. I had a formica guy make new counters and cover them with a retro style formica. It is not perfect because of the flexibility of the walls but it looks pretty good. Making the backsplash turn the corner and go up about 3 inches keeps the water from the kitchen sink from getting behind the cabinets. New sinks and faucets helps the overall look as well. Almost all the rest is what came with the trailer. However I did paint the stove hood from white to black to match the stove. That helped.
