On my '72 the antenna (a short whip on a spring) was mounted on the road side curve just beyond the wing window. I removed it
several years ago and had Jackson Center put a very neat patch over the holes.

On mine the wire was run between the outer and inner shells until it was behind the front interior cap, then through a hole into the
locker over the bed. Very easily reached and manipulated simply by removing the locker.

Never saw one like that -- except for home done CB or ham antenna. Doesn't mean a whole lot, however, because a/s are made
individually and often have modifications ordered by the original purchaser. Could be.

Routing is easy -- just use the old wire to pull the new one through the same path... but why?
