Several people put their personal data in forum messages--email address, phone number, location--just not good practice. Some new members may not have noticed they could contact the individuals directly by just using the "Send email" option beside posted messages.
I recently read a report of some burglaries committed by people using Facebook and other forum information to find when people were going to be out of town or to get personal information.
