If you're looking for a holiday with a difference, Morocco will certainly not disappoint. With its stunning coastline with the Mediterranean Sea to the north and the Atlantic Ocean to the west, Morocco boasts some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Morocco has beautiful resorts with a mix of ancient Moroccan style and modern facilities, so whether you're planning a family holiday, or romantic break, there's a resort to suit every taste and budget.

There is more to Morocco holidays than just relaxing on the beach, your holiday can be as activity focused or culture and history rich as you want. So here's a list of Morocco's top 3things to do and see to help you get the most out of your dream holiday.

1. The Saadian Tombs, Marrakech

Step back in time to some of Morocco's history and visit the 16th century burial ground that holds over 200 members of the Saadian Dynasty. Sultan Ahmed el Mansour commissioned the Saadian Tombs in Marrakech during his rule of Morocco. The entrances to the tombs were sealed by Moulay Ismail when he took power of Morocco in 1672, not to be rediscovered until 1917 by General Hubert Lyautey, who began the restoration of the tombs. The tombs are well worth a visit on your Morocco holidays with their lavish design and structure, full of cedar decorated doors, carved wooden screens, mosaics and columns of Italian marble.

2. Marrakech Souks

Within the ancient walls of the Medina, the Marrakech Souk is part of daily life, where goods are haggled over in tiny shops and stalls. The Souk can be something of a circus too as late afternoon and evening approaches with dramatic performers on every corner. Sneak a peek at a Cobra dancing to the sway of a wooden flute. Whether you're looking to taste some local food or drink or just pick up a souvenir you're sure to have an authentic Moroccan experience from a visit to Marrakech.

3. Camel Trekking

If you're coming to Morocco for the first time you really should take a camel trek through the Sahara Desert. There are a number of different tours that can be anything from 1-3nights in the desert. A camel ride is a sure way to see another side of Morocco but a word of warning any more than a day on a camel and you'll really feel it. Best to just have a short time on a camel and then finish the rest of your tour on a quad bike or in a 4×4.
