Josh
When we turned ours on for the first time and the second year (FIRST TIME) it will set off all kinds of alarms... give it a few minutes and as Jerry says ....
ALWAYS put one window in the "VENT" mode to give a little air
I would say if it doesn't go away after 10 minutes of running (with all the windows open and maybe even the door) that you may have a problem
It's probably just burning off the dust the first time you start it up for the season
But be cautious

Josh, Is it a new T@B or a new furnace? Sometimes running the furnace the first few times results in a smeel and some gases. The new furnace smell sould wear off soon and all will be alright. Tom

When I turn on my furnace (its the first time since I have had it)
it smells bad and then sets off my CO2 detector. What the heck?
THanks,
Josh
