[tabtrailers] Re: TV question - Here's what I got

When the factory gave us a newer model they put it right back on the same swing around frame. Not sure what model it was and we don't have the TADA anymore.. Sorry. just to let you know that there is a better quality out there and will fit. I THINK that swing around was a standard model so you might be able to put your new one on that framing? Check to be sure your new one is for wall hanging also. IF not, most frames are about $30 but it would mean you haveing to redo your wall?? not a good idea.? Terry

I would like to replace...however, I would like to be able to mount it on the existing flex arm...Love flipping it around to face the outside so that we can all watch " The long trailer" around the portable campfile eating popcorn :)...with the dogs of course...Life at its best.

Although I couldn't figure how to re-mount it on my Tada's existing wall-mounted swing arm, the Toshiba came with a sturdy foot stand and, blessedly, just one cord.

Beautiful picture, quiet and instant response, light weight, and because I store my trailer in mild desert conditions, I take the Toshiba with me when I leave. Very satisfied with the way this turned out.

Does anyone have one that they have purchased and are happy with? We aren't sure about how good of a reception we would get from just a tv, so that is why the combo is wanted. I have seen the little combo units in some photos w/everything (stereo,cd, etc.), but would like some feedback from some experienced campers. P.S.- Although I am happy w/a good book or magazine,I think hubby would enjoy camping more if he had some tv or a movie to watch...this is a slow work in progress. ;-D Also want to say "THANKS!" for all the helpful info we have gotten from this site..and will continue to get.
