Re: [tabtrailers] 5 in 1 Portable power pack for Christmas

I used one (Black and Decker) for years tent camping.  It was very handy to plug in the curling iron, dvd player, pump for air bed, pump up tires, jump start the car.  Not sure it would work as a battery for the T@B however.

Subject: [tabtrailers] 5 in 1 Portable power pack for Christmas

Hi everyone and Merry Christmas,

Does any one have any experience with using a portable power pack as a back up 12V source for your T@B? My wife bought me this for Christmas. I am trying to decide if this will suit our needs or if I should just take this back and buy a deep cell battery for backup. She bought this thing at harbor freight tools and I'm not sure if this will fill the bill.

It is a model 96157 and can be seen here:

Not quite sure the best way to hook this up to my trailer as well?

Anyway, any help or suggestions with this would be greatly appreciated.

Happy New Year,

Mick and Linda.
