Re: [tabtrailers] Battery cut off switch

Floridatabber(?) the cut off switch simply is wired in series with either the positive or negative lead from the battery. "In series" means that the lead from the battery is connected to the switch and the other side of the switch continues to either the ground or to the load. Another way to explain it is to take the lead and cut it, connecting one side of the cut lead to one side of the switch and the other to the other side of the switch.

I recommend putting it in the negative ground lead, though some prefer the positive lead. It also needs to be installed where it is not exposed to moisture, unless it is a waterproof switch.

This is for a switch for a single battery.

Subject: [tabtrailers] Battery cut off switch

Can anyone explain the wiring for the battery cut off switch? I have the switch installed in the T@da, but not certain if it needs a ground or which wires get connected. The battery box is so high the cover is very difficult to remove making the switch essential. Help would be much appreciated.
