Are they sure it is a real Water Moccasin? If so their range needs to be updated, this is a little far North and West for them. Some Herpetologist could make a name for himself if this is true and they made a positive ID. Being from deep in their range as well as living close to Mabry Mill for a while I've learned to respect them, the true Cotton Mouth, but try not and misidentify them.
