[A/S] Re: camping on a beach

While It isn't ON the beach, Galveston Island State Park has a
campground, with hookups, that is right next to the beach. Reservations
are recommended.

You used to be able to camp on the beach by the San Luis Pass bridge,
located at the extreme West end of the island. I don't know of you can
still do this or not...
