Sometimes true, Hunter (we eat an awful lot of cold stuff) - but the 600w microwave runs easily on our 1kw Honda generator.

Furthermore, even when we're involuntarily tethered to a house (as presently is the case) we don't use the full size range and
oven for anything - only the microwave. I know it's wierd, but that's our lifestyle and we're happy - same as we are happy living
in our a/s (when we are able to travel).
