For starters, apparently title was incorrect - was supposed to be 'State' of ... But 'Fate' sure drew a good crowd!

Looking at 'W' documents - want to make changes to allow for legalizing electronic meetings/make date of Int'l flexible. Those 2 stick in my mind. As always, looking for the cure-all to keep new & old members. Several members reminded Prez Beu that 20/20 Committee of several yrs. ago was working hard on that. What happened? Other takes: it s/b up to each member/unit to draw in/keep members... encourage families/children w/children activities... do away w/pomp&circumstance of dressed-up usherettes, red/white/blue, etc...

All the same-o-/same-o discussions going on since I joined 1997. Just gotta take what u enjoy out of each rally & leave the rest for everyone else. Not saying improvements aren't needed, but young-uns having to move up the chain get drawn into the pomp of officers. I will be hammered here for that but IMO... reduce # of offices, years in the chain that end up at Prez of Int'l. Prez of I has only 1 yr. What can be done in 1 yr? I say 2 yrs needed.
