You mentioned Bates RV, which has a very attractive dealership in Dover. My parents used to stay in the RV park next to them in their Airstream back in the 80's and 90's in the winter, and leave their trailer there much of the year. HOWEVER, I had an unfortunate experience with them last summer. I was heading down to Valrico, Florida...neighboring area to Dover where Bates is located....and I called about three weeks before I left Maryland for Fla. and ordered a number of parts.....none of them essential to being on the road, Thank God! They took the order and my credit card info and assured me that part of my order was on hand at Bates and that the things they had to order from Airstream...they looked the parts numbers up, or Airstream did on the phone with Bates.... would be in in two or two and a half weeks and would be waiting when I got to Fla. TMALSS, 3 and 1/2 weeks later, I went to Bates and everyone in the place pointed two fingers at the right and left persons working around them and denied any and all knowledge of, and responsibility for, any order from me. "What WAS your name again???? Are you SURE you ordered from BATES RV???" Affirmative to both.
