Re: [tabtrailers] Clamshell: Damp, moldy floor up front : (

Good question John, as I haven't figured out where the moisture comes from either. I have made a habit of wiping it out with Odo Ban and propping the lid open on the door side so it dries out. I've thrown some silicagel packs in there to see if that helps. This summer I will make a vent hole for it. Right now my poor Clamshell is froze solid in the front yard waiting patiently for summer.

I pulled up the vinyl floor in the storage bin near the door and dried it out, but I know the problem is all the way across the front (though it seems worse near the door). Have any of you clamshell owners figured out the source of the moisture? I don't know if the leading edge of the floor system is picking up water from the outside...or the door lets water in somehow? I would love to avoid reinventing the wheel if any of you have been through this : ) John <>{
