Actually the box is a standard truck box, It's not one I would have picked necessarily but I got it new at a pawn shop for $75 and couldn't pass it up. Since I took the propane off I didn't need a deep box and the long one gives me so much more usable space. I could put a 10 lb propane tank in it if I wanted too though. Also the aluminum is light and doesn't add to the tongue weight.
