I have looked at a few threads and am not seeing the symptom I have.
My water heater lights correctly but I have a sound for a few minutes that sounds like a ignition spark and a fairly high frequency warbling sound. I can see not spark at the ignitor or thermal sensor. After a few minutes the sparking noise stops and the high frequency sound goes to a steady tone. I need to change the relief valve, it is not leaking but has calcium deposits on it so it is probably frozen. I wanted to see if I could get any input on my symptoms before I go to the RV store.
