Re: [A/S] Aluminum vs. Fiberglass

hi Lew, The research I've done and was told about the problems A/S had during
the Beatrice years usually applied to units over 25' and had the rear bathroom
floor plans. Having said that I personally wouldn't be interested in anything
over 25' anyway. But I do like the way they were built and the materals that
when into them. The old 70's colors of the applances I could live with today..
also least not forget as of 1996 when the "new" widebodies came out didn't help
with the weight problems at all . Too bad they didn't give some a choice between
the wide bodies and originals. As much as I liked my 97' 25' classic I could
have live without that extra 6" wideness when comparing older units I've checked
out... Cheers Dominick

Many people are down on the Beatrice years, but I have to agree with you. One
must concede that the interior colors (avacado

et al.) were really gauche, but it you change those out for something a little
less aggressive, you are left with a very appealing

unit.
