I can't speak for Equalizer by brand name, its not a hitch I am familiar
with or know anything about, however when I purchased the Ford F350 4x4 1
ton Turbo Diesel (big HIGH truck), the Utility and Horse Trailer trailer
dealer I do business with stocks Reese/Draw-Tite WD hitches and he had in
stock the correct drop stinger so that the 1964 Airstream Ambassador sits
level and tows like a dream. It was a no hassle 1 hour conversion from my
previous F150 Heavy Duty truck, having a mechanic with the skill &
knowledge and right parts on hand is a big help.
BTW, most of the hour was spent in measuring and adjusting everything
including a trial drive so he knew the trailer was level and towed right...
I have to admit, having a skilled, knowledgeable dealer who is a good
mechanic in his own right, and has a top notch mechanic working for him,
sure makes owning trailers a painless and comfortable experience.
