I have an app on my cell phone (Droid Eris) that has a bubble balancer.  You can get one for an iPhone
also.  Start the app, then put the phone on something flat (I use the frame in the front of the trailer).
Can also use the counter top but that's a bit inconvenient for me.

Also learned the hard way about the CoolCat drain pan so I always set up with the driver side slightly lower when I'm going to use the a/c. Then I turn it on until I see the condensate draining properly. Saves a lot of mess with water on your floor. I also check the drains occasionally to make sure they are not blocked with road trash, mold growth, or dirt dauber nests.
