Well our Tornado warnings went into Flood warnings and boy did we get it.

3" of Rain in 3 hrs and our little bridge (Sharon) was overflowing over the bridge. Most of our sites were OK but we had a lot of water that grooved the road from running down hill.

But we watched Knoxville TV station and they were underwater on Broadway.

We enjoyed our day off in the mountains today, blue skies and sunshine. Ate lunch on the Foothills parkway and then toured our new home in Towsend and all was well there by the river then on to the Cove (Cades Cove) where we saw lots of deer and turkey's. The river along the road going to the cove road was rushing and really up like we have never seen it.

There was white water and yes we did see a Kayak-er having a blast.

So it was a good day.

We've been watching the radar off and on all morning. Be safe over there in Newport Ken & Bonnie! It's really windy here in NC and I'm glad that SplashT@B and I aren't out camping today.
