I remember the NADA guide having a "white box" type of price listed when I bought my clam a few years ago - crazy low-ball. It's kinda like pricing an old bug or VW bus - less on "going price" for "similar" items of the same age and more give/take between buyer and seller.

That one is a great price, the Moth@ship would go on the market for much more than that with the mods and accessories I have added (should I ever sell). It all comes down to what the seller is asking and what you are willing to pay. My opinion the Blue Book if available is a good starting point but but the seller may want more for an original T@B due to their uniqueness which KBB may not take into consideration.
Speaking of modifications, at the last rally in Newport (Ken and Bonnies) I showed off my new T@B 'warts' or Thule Table/Sink mounts. For the upcoming Blue Ridge got something new planned if I don't run out of time that should be pretty amazing, stay tuned!
