[tabtrailers] Re: Adding an AC unit

Several owners have small A/C units that they mount in their window when in camp - obviously, you need electric (or a generator) to run them. A couple owners come to mind - so check their phooto albums: Dale & Joy, Jay & Beth, Cindy Davidson too, but don't think she's posted a picture. I'd personally stay away from the swamp cooler and go for the small A/C unit. I thnk Dale used two hangers for a cat platform to hold the A/C unit in the window - then you just need to block the rest of the opening with plexiglass (if you want to see outside) or something to keep the opening blocked.

Since you won't have the Cool Cat for heat (probably have the furnace) you might want to pick up a "cube" heater for those colder nights.
