As you can see I just did this a few weeks ago myself. The trim is a bit bigger than the original but as everyone has said before and I can verify it's better than the original. You have to use a little force to have it grip the plastic shell but it's seems very strong once that connection is made. I have my receipt from JC Whitney right here and I've give you all the info from that order.
