If you can make it to The Hartwell Lake area on the GA/SC state line you might want to check out Watsadler Campground on the southwest banks of Lake Hartwell, just a short drive off I-85 just outside of Hartwell Ga, and a couple of miles from Wal-Mart and a bunch of other necessary stores, it also has large campsites, almost all sites are on water, all have electric and water on each site, it's inexpensive and very safe/clean including the free hot showers and clean well-kept rest rooms. It is on of our reqular stops, and well worth the money. It is maintained by the Corps of Engineers and is immaculate.
