Can't leave home w/o my BAL leveler and store it in pizza bag with plastic tube around screw to keep lubricant from getting all over. Very important to keep screw lubed. I use a heavy silicone grease.
Also learned the hard way about the CoolCat drain pan so I always set up with the driver side slightly lower when I'm going to use the a/c. Then I turn it on until I see the condensate draining properly. Saves a lot of mess with water on your floor. I also check the drains occasionally to make sure they are not blocked with road trash, mold growth, or dirt dauber nests.
