Monte Sano is definitely the prettiest place to camp in Huntsville, NOT close to the Westin though. but, an easy drive down the mountain to the Interstate. You'll go right down Bankhead Parkway which turns into my street, Pratt Avenue, (Look for my Orange/Silver tab in the driveway!) then pick up 565 for an easy drive to Bridgestreet Town Centre where the Westin is. The shopping there is great, (Apple Store!) along with many good places to eat.
I will be at Bonnaroo the 9th or 10th till the 13th, but might run up the "hill" and visit with you on Saturday the 18th!
I have never pulled the tab up the mountain, as it's quite steep, and my tow vehicle is "challanged" as it is. I hope to get something with more torque soon.
