[tabtrailers] Re: Screen rooms, awnings

Sandra,

I posted those 2 photos of my home made tarp in the Screenrooms and Awnings album.

The closeup during construction had the following caption:
Put a 3/8" rope in the tarp, slide it into the channel and choose placement, stake it out, pull back excess to fit it to the shape of the T@B as seen here, mark the curve with wax or chalk, sew a casing at the mark to slide rope into, cut off excess tarp material, thread rope, sew rope to tarp to keep from sliding and to retain shape, add bungees to hook to T@B handles, viola! Quick, easy & cheap. Now to find a RED tarp! ;-) (silicone spray in the channel is a MUST!)

Basically put one end into the awning rail....then the other end would be flat with 2-3 poles supporting in. Basically the awning would go from a arch along the T@B to a flat straight profile at the poles? Might have to get a custom cut awning to do it properly...but I think it would work.
