On the newer ones they are stored up front just behind the tongue.

Hi Gang,
For those of us still taking grandchildren on mini-trips, our little
Airstream has become smaller and smaller as they have become larger
and larger.
One possible solution: Make a tent
How difficult could that be? Then, I found this website and Voila` -
plus, it shows how our two canoe paddles can do double duty.
