I have been thinking of doing this in my B-Van and my friend, Tony, has already done this in his trailer.
I am in the process of replacing the microwave with a Sharp Convection/Microwave so I will still be able to bake goodies.
Tony replaced the gas range with a small two-burner Berona Gas Cooktop with electronic ignition. He mail-ordered it on-line and paid about $350.00. You may be able to shop around and find one cheaper. The space where the gas stove was located is now a dish and cooking utensil cabinet. The countertop was replaced with a new Corian countertop to give a factory-installed appearance. Oak doors were purchased from Airstream to match the existing cabinetry.
Hopefully, this project will turn out as well as his when all is finished in my B-van. Good luck with your project.
