Re: [tabtrailers] Re: Is a T@B or a T@da right for us?

Thanks everyone for the feedback. So here is what I have, and let me know if I misunderstood:

- Camping with two kids can be done. With a T@B get an Add A Room.
- Clamshell: leak, have a smaller bed, are less cozy on cold mornings, and you don't have the cooking smells inside.
- Bathroom: Possible mess and smell, reduce the room inside, and you get some added privacy. Most likely get more sleep since I would have to escort my kids and wife to the bathroom at night. Tokyo is never dark at night and she has not gotten used to stars :-)
- T@B vs T@DA: have a wet bath, not much difference in interior room, no Add a Room for the T@DA but can be worked.
- T@DA with the dinette bed would have everyone sleeping inside, ( maybe after 10 minutes with us)
-  Should be able to tow either with the Odyssey
- Consider a pop up. (I have been looking at those, don't like the weight and tried putting on up and down. Not the easiest thing to do with two excited kids. I was surprised at how much time it take to set up and take down).

Suggestions:
- Take everyone to a campsite for a day and spend the day. Find out what they think of it and have my wife see what are her concerns.
- Decide on how much time we would spend inside the trailer
- Try renting an RV and give it a try.

What I am thinking is to try all of the suggestions first. I am leaning towards a T@B with an Add a Room, mainly because I love the way they would look with our Hudson, and I like efficient small packaging. I think that a T@DA would fit my wife's views better, and I try and live by "Happy Wife, Happy Life".

This is going to be a good summer.
