[A/S] WiFi

My wife and I just got back from our favorite resort where they advertise WiFi at all campsites. Well, we have found out that their WiFi and their repeaters do not cover every site. Have any of you experienced this problem? Do you use WiFi signal boosters? Or do you have your own WiFi "hotspots" for your Airstream? I recently tried out the "Clear" WiFi mobile hotspot, but couldn't get it to work in those outlaying areas. I have also seen other campers use external antennas and amplifiers for their Mobile WiFi's. Also note that we are Verizon customers. So, what works best for you? and, what works for you "boondockers" ??
