Hello Dave, I hear you are the resource to go to! We were told that replacing the floor with (non-Marine grade) plywood and installing new vinyl would be $11,000 at the west coast dealership! So instead, we are in the process of gathering advice and trying to find a time when we might do some of this work ourselves. This is daunting, given our lack of experience, the fact we do not have a shop to work in, and that are both working full time. We had planned all upcoming time off of work to USE this Bambi, not gut it. We do not have the cash for this. I tried calling Airstream this AM but have not been able to make connection with the Service Rep who could give me a Jackson Center quote.
