There is some heavy duty velcro that has larger hooks and loops. A bit of that on the back of the extinguisher allows quick deployment but holds it firmly in place.

We have 2005 U-Shape T@B. Near the door, sort of tucked under the passenger-side seat, is a fire extinguisher. Nice to have it so handy, but it is held in place by stout plastic straps, thus making it difficult to engage in an emergency.
We are considering destroying the plastic bindings and carrying the extinguisher elsewhere; yet, we feel that there must be some fast-release aspect to the current arrangement. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
