Holly,   I think I've reported this before, but since we don't have the over window valance, I wanted to experiment with a temporary solution, since I never wanted to penetrate the walls of our T@B.  I've sucessfully used the Command strips to hold the type of curtain rod that is expandable and has a small end that is a loop of metal that the small hook type of Command strip slips into.  We've travel several thousands of miles and never a trouble, and it's completely removable should you change your mind!  Good luck!

I bought some inexpensive brass cup holder screws and screwed them into the underside of the wood valence. I went to the dollar store and bought a cheap curtain rod and hung that on the cup holder screws - just crimped them a little with pliers so the rods wouldn't slip out. Less than $5 and very unobtrusive.
