Hi,
Not a serious canoer, wish I was. I have an older heavy one right now on my mountain property, I put it in the lake up there in the summer. If you want info about Cedar Breaks and other areas in So Utah, (along with a lot of Montana and other areas) check out my blog at

Karen, a bit off topic, but I just noticed the email address and your location. We did the Green to the Confluence in October in our 16' Mad River, and have done the San Juan from Mex Hat. I was playing with a new toy, a 14' Vanguard raft and NRS frame and planning a Deso/Grey for this Oct. when we stumbled on our T@B. We live a few miles south of Denver, but we're granddog sitting in Basalt this weekend. One of the reasons we instantly grabbed our T@B on the used lot was to do a thorough exploration of places like the Escalante/Natural Bridges/Cedar Breaks. We are completely comfortable camping dry for long, the T@B will be light years more advanced than our normal REI tent, and our tow is a V6 '93 4Runner 4WD.
Perhaps we should chat.
