Re: [tabtrailers] Re: no electricity when plugged in

Nick, the difficulty I'm having with the description of the problem is the fact that we are told there is an outlet that powers the portable (ceramic?) heater. If that is a standard 120VAC outlet, then the power is getting from the campground supply into the trailer. That means the shore power cable and its connections are good. That in turn means the problem has to be internal wiring connection(s) and/or circuit breaker(s). Because there apparently is a problem with the battery being run down, it also means the AC power is not reaching the converter. Unless there is something I'm completely missing, it really should  be a simple problem to correct, even without a wiring diagram or schematic. Sure would like to be able to get my hands on it.

Jerry, et al,

I was thinking the same thing about the campground outlet not being switched on, or not staying on when a load is put on it.   We have had that happen before ourselves.   We plugged into the campground outlet, and the switch was on, and then it popped off after a minute or two.   The campground owner switched us to another outlet, and we were good to go.
