Re: [tabtrailers] Replacement for jack/wheel?

Lachinn(?) the jockey wheel problem is a common one that has been discussed a lot on the forum, and there are several fixes for it. The most common fix is the use of a bungee cord (see the first photo in the *Suggestions photo album) to prevent it from falling. Some have drilled holes in the frame and the wheel mount and use a metal pin to solve this problem.

I don't know of a contact for getting an original replacement for it, but there are other similar arrangements that can be clamped to the side of the tongue that will do the job. Check with trailer and farm product dealers, and perhaps Harbor Freight. Maybe another member will chip in with more specific advice on it.

Please use the Files section, the "*Issues" photo album (and other photo albums) and the search feature in the Message section to find information on the jockey wheel problem as well as other common items of interest.

Subject: [tabtrailers] Replacement for jack/wheel?

Hi- Does anybody know where we might find a replacement for the jack/wheel on a Tab 2007??? (It came off while transporting.) Has anyone had this happen? Also, is it possible to get a replacement or do we need to get a totally different type of jack? Any info wouold be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
