I had an absolute ball!!! I was lazy today at the campground and hung out (and packed up and washed clothes) and got out of Cave City about 1:30 this afternoon and just pulled into the driveway a few minutes ago. I’ll have to check my mileage but I was just over 1300 miles. As I turned off the interstate onto our local road into Huntsville, finally saw first hand why we lost power in the storms. Hundreds of downed power poles, (all replaced with new ones, they just haven’t picked up the old ones yet) large trees just twisted and down and a few homes destroyed. That’s just what I could see from the main road. Also saw one of our local TV stations radar domes demolished.
Well time to unload the truck. Will sort through pictures tomorrow!!

Subject: [tabtrailers] Thanks To The Blue Ridgers & Caravaners
Hey Blue Ridgers...
Becky and I arrived home safely from the Blue Ridge Rally and Mammoth Cave Caravan about 5:00 p.m. today...a total of 1290 miles, 4 states, and a respectable 15 mpg.
Thanks to all of you who attended the rally! It was so great to meet and greet all the new faces and get hugs from all the BRR alumni. I had a ball planning everything for you and I can't thank you enough for coming.
Now it's time to relax, unpack and then start looking forward to gathering with friends again in the Smokies to see the fireflies in June.
