Assuming you mean the small key for the small hitch lock insert (my key says "ALK" on it), I've had trouble fitting it in before, but I've always managed to get it in and to turn it. ...just tried it again. Maybe you need to spray in some oil. Silicone is best but any thin oil would be OK.
