[tabtrailers] Re: battery lfe and the 12v fridge

As I await tomorrows pick up date for our new clamshell I'm wondering about the drycamp life of the standard 12v Deep Cycle battery that comes standard. We will be drycamped more than in campgrounds with access to shore power and am wondering what direction to head to increase the life of our power system.. Should we be going solar or with a generator?

I'm not concerned about powering the coolcat or even the blower on the furnace or any such luxury, just simply the 12v fridge. Even lights can be managed with the use of some cheap LED battery operated lights and lanterns.

Any real life experience with the 12v fridge and either solar or generator power would be much appreciated.

Sorry if this has been addressed several times, I find the format of this board to be difficult to search.
