I have borrowed an idea from Geo that I think you might like. He took some black pvc pipe and fashioned a holder for the fire extinguisher that he mounted in the long lower cabinet at the door. The fire extinguisher just slides in and out...pretty nifty!
Besides the plastic strap not wanting to let loose, the box that holds mine has pulled away from the supports under the bench seat. That really hasn't caused a problem except it produces a nasty sounding squeak when you step in that general area.
I've posted three pictures in the Owner Modification File of Geo's solution to this problem. I don't think he'll mind that I've shared this with everyone. Thanks for the mod idea Mr. Geo!
