Lloyd,
Also, not wanting to take out the lower shelf to fill the inside water tank, we didn't use it for the first 3 years we owned the TAB. We had turned our closet into a pantry and had stacking wire baskets in it that were zip-tied to the walls. Another reason not to use it.
Our easy fix, thanks to Reed Rucker of San Clemente - in our case, we cut that bottom board into two pieces crosswise just in front of our wire baskets. Now we take out the front section(has a hole in it already for lifting), use the filler hose with turnoff (that we created and keep down in the compartment, attach it to the city water hose and fill the tank with no fuss and NO water spill in the trailer. Filter is attached to the city water hose so water in the tank will be filtered. Little turnoff valve can be purchased in most any store.

I am tired of taking the bottom shelf out just to fill the water tank so I am going to develop an outside hook up for the water tank then carry it in the truck freeing up some long term storage. I will be hooking up to the pressure inlet, keeping it so when we do hook up to city water it will still work.
